Congratulations to the Celtic FC Florida teams advancing to the Semifinal Round in the FYSA Region C Competition. Our U12 Boys coached by Ray Hales advanced to the final weekend with a convincing 4-1 defeat of the West Florida Flames. The U13 Boys, coached by Matt Risley advanced to the Final 4 as well with a solid 2-0 defeat of Brandon FC. These teams join our U13 Girls, coached by George Gomes, who had previously qualified to play in the Region Semifinals in pool play. The Semifinals and Finals will be held the weekend of March 16 and 17 at the Kelly Road Complex in Fort Myers.
We wish all three teams great success….we are hopefully that playing on St. Patrick’s weekend will bring them luck!
