This past week Bria Riancho traveled to Scotland to train with the Celtic Women’s team. Bria earned this honor by being picked by Celtic coaches at last summer’s Celtic summer camp. At Celtic, Bria trained with the 1st team and worked very closely with Gemma Fay, who is the most capped player on the Scottish Women’s National team history. In addition Bria received tickets to the Celtic Champions League qualifying match, and had a private tour of Celtic Park.
Bria is the 3rd player from our club since October to go to Scotland and train with Celtic, this is being done because of the ongoing partnership between our club and Glasgow Celtic. In the coming year there are 3 more players who are scheduled to go to Scotland via being picked at the Celtic summer camp.
